The Wixams

MOSAIC supported Kilborn Consulting Ltd in developing a concept design for a new railway station to support a housing development at The Wixams in Bedfordshire.

A GRIP 2 study had already taken place in 2003 but Bedfordshire Borough Council needed it reviewing and updating. Through our innovative thinking and significant experience in early stage railway project development, Kilborn Consulting Ltd was able to present a design that was more cost efficient despite more onerous modern design standards.

MOSAIC’s client said “I was thoroughly delighted and impressed by the services provided by MOSAIC Consultants on a recent railway station feasibility project. Together, we were able to provide an excellent report that was very well received by the client and is likely to lead to further work.”

MOtorway cost estimation review

MOSAIC provided expert advice to the OECD International Transport Forum (ITF) supporting their analysis of Slovakian motorway cost estimation processes.

The Slovakian Ministry of Finance wanted independent assessment of the way in which the Government estimated and tracked the cost of new motorway schemes.

MOSAIC provided cost estimation and commercial control expertise, undertaking interviews with key stakeholders in Slovakia and contributing to the ITF's report. The report was published online and may be found here.
